I’ve been in business for over twenty-two years, have rented from several different landlords and have negotiated with many more. I have rented from and worked with Jeremy and Jackie at CKE Properties for four years now. It is easy for me to say that my time with CKE has been the most enjoyable leasing experience to date. Most landlords want what they want and it’s like pulling teeth to get any concession or agreement that is mutually beneficial. From the onset of my relationship with Jeremy, it has been evident that Jeremy understands and appreciates the concept of a win/win relationship. He and Jackie have always treated us fairly within contract negotiations, repair requests, etc. It has also been apparent to me that when it comes to tenant buildout, Jeremy and his construction manager, John, have a shared value of doing it right the first time rather than having to come back to repair it later. Many landlords seem to subscribe to the practice of getting the lease signed, slapping the unit together and getting the rent checks coming in; however, Jeremy is different in that he has an obvious understanding of not only the value of relationships but of repeat business as well. When it comes to leasing commercial space, I believe one would be hard-pressed to find a better company to work with than CKE Properties.
